Accounts & Access
Schools are responsible for managing user accounts, permissions and access within their organisation.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and should not share access with unauthorised individuals.
Acceptable Use
- Use the platform for unlawful purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data.
- Disrupt, interfere with or compromise platform operations.
- Upload malicious software or harmful content.
- Use Scholent in a manner that negatively affects other users.
Payments & Subscriptions
Access to certain Scholent services may require an active subscription or service agreement.
Pricing, billing cycles and subscription terms may vary depending on the selected plan and any agreed services.
Schools remain responsible for ensuring that subscription fees and related charges are paid in accordance with any applicable agreements.
Data Ownership
Schools retain ownership of the data they enter, upload or manage within the Scholent platform.
Scholent does not claim ownership of school records, student information or other institution-specific data.
Data may be processed only as necessary to provide services, maintain platform operations and meet legal obligations.
Intellectual Property
Scholent, its branding, software, documentation, design elements and related materials remain the intellectual property of Motask.Dev unless otherwise stated.
Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer or commercially exploit any part of the platform except where expressly permitted.
Service Availability
Scholent aims to provide a reliable and highly available service. However, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
Planned maintenance, updates, infrastructure changes or circumstances beyond reasonable control may occasionally affect service availability.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Scholent and Motask.Dev shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from the use of the platform.
Schools remain responsible for ensuring that information entered into the platform is accurate, lawful and appropriately managed.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect legal, technical or operational changes.
Continued use of Scholent following updates may constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
